The Leonardo da Vinci school chain was first founded in 1977 in Florence and has since grown to have schools in Milan, Rome, and Siena. The school’s concept of the three pillars which guarantee a successful language course abroad: the language course, a comfortable place to stay and support alongside this and engaging in culturally rich activities outside of class.

The school is housed in a historic building in the old town of Siena, surrounded by beautiful plazas which emanate the classic Italian atmosphere; the Piazza San Domenico, Piazza Gramsci and Piazza del Campo. Museums and other sites of interest are also located at walking distance from the school. Students can enjoy the time between classes on the rooftop terrace where they can study under the sun.
The team at Leonardo da Vinci organize a program of activities including a city tour, theater visits, class dinners, art gallery and museum visits and film nights. Students can also explore further afield visiting the Chianti region and other nearby towns on days trip or weekend excursions. All professors are native Italian speakers and hold a university degree, as well as having experience and training as teachers of Italian as a foreign language.
